How to Use Meta Data in SimpleSign
Meta data in Simple Sign allows you to create reusable custom fields that can be applied across multiple templates. This improves efficiency, maintains consistency, and simplifies your document setup process.
Where to Find Meta Data
- Open the Settings menu from the left-hand panel.
- Select Meta Data to view and manage your saved custom fields.

How to Add Meta Data
Option 1: Add in Settings (Beforehand)
- Go to Meta Data in the Settings menu.
- Click Add Meta Data.
Enter a name and select the field type (e.g., text, dropdown, date).
- Click Add to store the field for future use.

Option 2: Save During Template Creation
- When adding a new field while editing a template, select Save as Meta Data.
- Edit the field name and attributes.
- Click add to make it available across other templates.
