# How to Get Recipients Document Link

If you've sent a document to a recipient and later wish to resend it from your regular email client, follow these steps:

**Caution:** 

- Each participant has a unique link; be sure to send the correct link to the correct recipient.
- The document will be signed or viewed as the person the link belongs to.

**Resending a Document in SimpleSign:**

1. Navigate to the **Documents** section
2. Click on the document row you want to collect the document URL from
3. Click on the **Participants** section
4. Select the recipient you want to collect the document URL from
5. Click on the participant's **initials icon**
6. Click **Copy document link**
7. The link is now ready to be pasted into a private email and sent to the recipient

**This feature is useful when:**

- You want to send a reminder with a more personal touch.
- The recipient reports they did not receive the initial email.
