# How to Download a PDF Copy of a Document

You can download a copy of your documents in SimpleSign by following these steps

1. **Go to Documents** – In the top middle menu bar, select **Documents**.
2. **Select the Contract** – Find and click the contract you want to download.
3. **Open the Options Menu** – Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner of the sidebar.
4. **Download the PDF** – Click the **PDF** button to download the contract to your device.

**Tip:** If you download a contract that has not yet been signed, Simple Sign will automatically add an extra page so that you and your recipient can print and sign the document manually.
