How to Add & Request Attachments

Instructions for including or requesting attachments in documents and templates.

Documents may require additional information in the form of attachments, such as ID documents, Terms and Conditions, or other relevant files. This article explains how to add or request attachments within your documents or templates.

Add an Attachment

  1. In your document, go to the Blocks section.
  2. Locate and select the Attachment block.
  3. Drag the block into the desired position in your document. Green guidelines will indicate placement.

Settings:

  1. Click the three-dot icon on the right side of the block to open the settings menu.
  2. In the settings, you can configure:
    • Who the request is from.
    • Whether the attachment is mandatory to view or upload.
    • Whether the attachment is conditional based on other content.
