# Contract manager

## How to add contract managers to contract cards

A contract manager is exactly what it sounds like; a person responsible for a specific agreement (or agreement card as we call it at SimpleSign). Whoever is the administrator can choose who or which people (from their users) are responsible for the respective contract card.

As the contract manager, you automatically get access to the contract together with reminders before the contract's important events.

#### Benefits

- The company's financial manager (or others at the company) gets a clear picture of who is responsible for which contract card.
- Contract managers always have access to their contract cards.
- The contract information is centrally available within the company, which minimizes unnecessary administration.
- If someone leaves the company, it is easy for you as an administrator to replace the authorization/access to the contract cards.
- The right person always receives reminders before important contractual events.
